About The Artist/Author

Mandy Mitchell grew up in the former home of notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel, which is where her true crime fascination began.  She received her BFA in Drawing from Pratt Institute of Design in Brooklyn, NY and a MFA from Parsons School of Design in New York, NY.  Her book was birth during a pandemic.  Mitchell was quarantined alone where in mystery tv, crime dramas and serial killer documentaries became a source of comfort.  She currently resides in her hometown of Los Angeles, with the front door securely locked.
